Songwriter Stephen Friedland was involved with the Tokens before he became Brute Force. His 1967 lp I, Brute Force – Confections Of Lovehas been reissued by Bar / None last year. But he’s most famous for his King of Fuh single from 1969, one of Apple‘s rarest releases.
