Stumbled across this edit whilst documenting another post on Harlem … Here’s the original studio version by Bill Withers and here’s an inspiring page on his “Harlem” and a few other songs. Do indeed check Withers’ 1972-10-06 Carnegie Hall live version – actually the whole 2lp (Sussex 1973) is a classic; sadly the Legacy site no longer has info on their 1997 single cd remaster.
